Who are we ?
A team committed to and passionate about digital sustainability. We are dedicated to finding innovative and simple solutions for our clients, to facilitate their processes and give a second life to computer equipment.
Our story
Loopix was created by Leasétic in 2022! Before the creation of Loopix, the equipment from our rental contracts was resold to wholesalers and we did not know what happened to these computers and smartphones.
At the beginning of 2022, we decided to make this equipment available to our clients' employees with two objectives:
- Responding to a recurring demand from our clients: reselling IT equipment to employees, but without having to manage after-sales service.
- To enable our clients' employees to benefit from computers and smartphones at preferential prices, since their companies contribute to providing this equipment.
Our mission
Loopix's mission is to simplify access to refurbished equipment. If we do nothing, by 2040, the environmental impact of digital tools will exceed that of land and air transport combined. Most of us have already bought a used car and had no preconceived notions. Why should we have any when it comes to a smartphone, a computer, or a tablet? you?
Why resist?
We hesitate because the marketing and communication departments of major IT players have told us for 30 years that hardware becomes obsolete after one, two, or three years. That's false!
- A computer has a lifespan of 7 to 10 years.
- A smartphone has a lifespan of 5 to 6 years.
How to proceed?
Our power lies in what we have as consumers. It's not about no longer buying new equipment, but about using it or making it used for longer.
